This month, CCSVI Alliance is offering a donation matching program, to provide a grant to the International Society for Neurovascular Disease (ISNVD) 2014 Conference.

Matching Gift Challenge

For every dollar you contribute to CCSVI, we will match your donation---and double your contribution to the ISNVD.  Thanks to your help, we've already received $400.00, which now becomes $800---but we believe we can make an even larger grant.  Please share this information in your virtual and real-life communities, and help us make a difference.

The ISNVD will be convening for their fourth international conference in San Francisco in less than one month.  CCSVI Alliance believes the ISNVD is providing vital and essential collaborative research which will help us understand the vascular connection to diseases of neurodegeneration.  This is why we are committed to supporting this group.

The ISNVD does not receive support from industry.  As a non-profit, they rely on our support to accomplish their goals.

Here is the mission statement of the ISNVD:

The purposes of the International Society for Neurovascular Disease (ISNVD) are:

  1. to promote communication, research, development, applications, and the availability of information on neurovascular and related neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis internationally;

  2. to develop and provide channels and facilities for continuing education and communication in the field, to publish and assist in the publishing of journals and other publications in the field;

  3. to provide information and advice on those aspects of public policy which are concerned with neurovascular disease and other related topics, and otherwise to perform charitable, scientific and educational functions with respect to studying such diseases in terms of research and treatment;

  4. to work with or for, and to co-operate with local, regional and national governments and governmental and private agencies, organizations, firms and institutions in efforts to accomplish one or more of the above purposes and

  5. to ensure that scientists and clinicians working in the field have equal and fair opportunities to contribute to it.

The ISNVD is dedicated to the dissemination and review of new concepts in etiopathogenesis, novel diagnostics and modes of therapeutic treatment in the diseases of the neurovasculature. The society does not endorse specific products, treatment modalities or procedures but encourages the free exchange of information which may lead to peer reviewed research and clinical studies.

In the next week, we'll be sharing more information on the exciting research and speakers who will be presenting at the conference--
