David participated on a phone conference with the other members of the scientific advisory board for the Canadian Coalition to prepare a response to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research regarding their RFP. They all agreed that more testing studies were not enough and that treatment must be included. The original press release mistakingly referred to this as a phase l/ll trial but, of course, all of you out there realized this was a mistake and put the word out. David and Sandy spoke at length on the phone yesterday and the end result was another press release substituting the term phase ll/lll. This is very important because it means that these studies can be the basis for government approval of treatment for all Canadians.
