Dr. Hector Ferral is at Rush University in Chicago. He's been involved in CCSVI investigation and treatment for a few years. We can read the full paper online.
His conclusion is very important. Catheter venography is all about finding luminal stenosis, or narrowing of veins, and treating this condition, however an agreed upon protocol has not been established yet. He is making his suggestions, as someone who has treated CCSVI. He cautions against measuring blood flow alone--as this changes depending on position or collateral circulation.
