Does your brain shrink in the day? Well, according to this research in the Neurovascular Health News Digest (http://paper.li/CCSVI_Society/1306484186), if you have MS, your brain shrinks 0.18% during the day and, if you have Alzheimer's, it shrinks more than double that, 0.44%. The researchers suggest hydration may be the reason, but this study, based on 10,000 MRI scans, strongly supports the theory that increased pressures due to inadequate drainage through the jugular veins (the primary drainage route at night), may be responsible for a temporary condition of hydocephalus in persons with CCSVI.
