When I Walk
Dear friends and colleagues. How's all? I'm not sure if you all are aware, but I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005. I'm making a documentary about it - learning more about the disease and passing my findings on. Check out the website (http://www.wheniwalk.com/ ) and trailer and pass this email on to anyone you see fit! Jason -------------------------------- After working as a filmmaker for ten years, showing at Sundance, on PBS, HBO, and nearly receiving Academy Award nomination, I am creating a new type of documentary film. When I Walk is a point-of-view feature-length documentary about my changed world once I was diagnosed (at 25-years old) with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005. The film paints a picture of what it is like to live with Multiple Sclerosis – the ins and outs of the symptoms and the day-to-day challenges faced. The film carries interviews of others with Multiple Sclerosis and those that support them. It explores the nature of this neurological disorder and examines elements that help support those with Multiple Sclerosis in both medical and alternative treatments. The story unfolds as I come to better understand this disease and develop a strategy for the future. When I Walk provides information and inspiration to those affected by Multiple Sclerosis and their supporters.
