CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis
A BRILLIANT paper from 1990, which fits into the CCSVI disease process--"The basic hypothesis is that MS is a cerebro-vascular-ischemic disease. It is hypothesized that the basic defect is a wound in the CNS due to a focal hypertension which results in vascular injury, edema formation, and an ischemic hypoxia which, in turn, leads to demyelination and a secondary damaging process related to the immune system." (The researchers propose HBOT to treat the injury...but if the venous congestion due to CCSVI is not relieved, the injury will continue.) http://www.oceanhbo.com/papers/hypotheses.pdfwww.oceanhbo.com
