Cute little mice & tied off jugular veins - Hubbard Foundation: "In a new study from Harvard the jugular veins of mice were ligated (tied off) and the brains studied 16-18 weeks later. They were compared to mice who had sham ligation. They found a slight but statistically significant reduction of brain perfusion but no brain abnormalities including demyelination or inflammation, and no signs of neurological dysfunction. While the study was extremely thorough, this mouse model will need to be improved to achieve much greater reduction in brain perfusion (MS patients have perfusion half that of normal), to assess reflux and extending the study considerably longer (there mice live on average 57 weeks). The authors concluded that MS is not caused by CCSVI but did not successfully model it by ligating the jugular veins." http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hubbard-Foundation/208489665829860
