Happy 2014!! Big news story in Italy from Sandro. A collaboration between the US and Italy, to understand the brain's fluids and neurovascular disease.

2013 closes in Ferrara with a story of extraordinary importance for scientific research in the field of Medicine. Coming from Detroit to St. Anna Hospital, instrumentation which isn't yet in production, which will serve to enhance the new research of the team of Zamboni on " Brain and Fluids." A 3-T magnetic resonance imaging machine will be installed in the new hospital probably in the spring: it will serve to strengthen the scientific research of Dr. Paolo Zamboni Director of the Vascular Diseases Center of University of Ferrara, thanks his international scientific prestige the powerful instrumentation has been donated to the Sant'Anna University Hospital. We are developing with the Region, explained the Director-General of St. Anna, Gabriele Rinaldi, an agreement that will define the scope of use of the machine and the procedures for its installation. The machine will come in Ferrara with his creator radiologist Dr. E. Mark Haacke of Wayne State University in Detroit, which the University of Ferrara will host in Department of Physics with a Copernicus professorship. A similar machine doesn't exist in Europe, says Dr. Paolo Zamboni, the project that we are developing with the Region, provides a use reserved for neurovascular disease research. Il 2013 si chiude a Ferrara con una notizia di straordinaria importanza per la ricerca scientifica nel campo della Medicina. In arrivo al Sant’Anna da Detroit una strumentazione non ancora in produzione , che servirà a potenziare la nuova ricerca dell’equipe di Zamboni su “cervello e fluidi”.
