An editorial published in the June 25, 2014 journal of Neurology, Dr. Dennis Bourdette and Dr. Jeffrey Cohen refer to CCSVI in multiple sclerosis as a "therapeutic misadventure". Joan Beal, Alliance board member wrote an open letter to Dr Bourdette in response to the editorial.
