CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis
"Among protective factors, we found that everyday use of dietary supplements showed a trend for lower frequency of CCSVI. Dietary supplements are widely used for improving the integrity and function of veins in the lower limbs, in order to increase the integrity of the tissue to improve the vein’s function [47]. They also decrease the capillary’s permeability by reducing the number and size of pores in the capillary’s walls, improve the tone of or dilate the blood vessels and affect blood-clotting mechanisms [47]." http://www.bnac.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/plos-one-ccsvi-risk-factors-in-controls.pdfwww.bnac.net
