CCSVI Developments in Australia
The July 2012 News in Brief, compiled by the Multiple Sclerosis Network of Care Australia, is now available. It traces CCSVI developments in Australia from the time that Janelle Saffin, MP first raised this matter in the Australian Parliament in May 2011 to last weeks briefing at Parliament House, Canberra aimed at building common ground.
The briefing was organised by MS Australia, in collaboration with CCSVI Australia, and under the auspices of Senator Kate Lundy. MS Australia was represented by their President, Rob Hubbard and Robert Pask. CCSVI Australia was represented by Kerri Cassidy and Helena Webb. An excellent clinical overview of CCSVI and MS was provided by Doctor Paul Thibault.
A ‘must read’ for all for whom multiple sclerosis plays an important part in their lives and for all politicians at an Australian Federal and State level. Our friends across the globe may also find some parallels with relevance to their CCSVI journey.
