It is a sad say when people with MS realize that the medications that they have been given for decades do NOT prevent disability.

In this presentation from October 2013, Dr. Ebers of Oxford University in England states at 14 minutes and 10 seconds that "Stop marketers from misleading patients & families that RR drugs prevent disability."

That means that the pharmaceutical industry has been lying to MS patients about the efficacy of the interferon medications that we have injected for decades.

Now that the neurologists have this information, why are they still prescribing them, and why are insurance companies still paying for them?

Why did the MS Society of Canada hail the decision of the New Brunswick government to cover MS drugs, knowing full well that they do not prevent long term disability and are costing governments millions in wasted tax-payers money?
