DIRECT-MS will match up to $150,000, donated by 12/31/10 to University at Buffalo PREMISE CCSVI Treatment Trial. PREMISE will evaluate the effectiveness of angioplasty for CCSVI. Thirty MS patients will have selective venography followed by a balloon angioplasty procedure. Study testing will include Doppler ultrasound, MRV, neurological examinations, CT perfusion of the head, questionnaires and blood draws.
