Via AnneMarie Berukoff / CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis page:
"I had the privilege of listening to some of Canada's top medical advocates this afternoon and here a few facts they shared: a) 12,500 procedures have been performed in 50 countries b) there have been found at least 60 categories of venous abnormalities c) 80 to 97% of MS patients have one or more venous irregularities d) data results will continue to change with improved treatment e) every patient is different with venous structures and outcomes but 50% have shown improved to significant results (show me a drug with this handprint) e) the Canadian political system has seriously failed MS healthcare and needs to be investigated for special interest groups, conflicts of interest and ethics violations. This broadcast has been recorded and if you wish the link, I hope I can share via Facebook.

What the neurologists have done will go down in history as a travesty of medicine and justice in the name of chronic self-preservation. While they sit around "fiddling" with veins for the first time, the world's doctors move ahead in symposiums studying the link between vascular problems and other neurological conditions like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The rat's brain will no longer determine the well-being of MS families. Amen to that."
