During the first week of March 2010, we are pleased to announce that Dr Marian Simka will be visiting our facility. During the visit he is expected to discuss and share his experience with diagnosing and treating CCSVI in the MS patient.
During the second and third weeks of March 2010, Dr’s Godley and Cooperberg will be travelling to Italy to visit with Prof. Zamboni and associates to further their experience in the field of CCVI.
Currently our centre is working closely with Dr Mark Haacke on standardizing MRI protocols for CCSVI. Our MRI machine is currently the only 3T MRI in the country open to the public for MR venography.
En de volgende tweets:
"3T MRI is better for SNR(signal to noise ratio) and SWI( susceptibility weighted imaging) So for MS you need a 3T to measure the IRON"
"Dr Simka is at False Creek. We are scanning and sharing useful information. new way of using MRV/MRI"
"i am predicting a much higher positive pathology vrate with MRV protocol change for the neck veins"
"New blog post: A patient writes about her scanning experience at False Creek with Dr. Simka.

antwoord: "No we are using Dr. Haacke's protocol but we have added a new protocol called Fiesta Fat-Sat to look at the internal jugulars."
antwoord: "yes for his MRV, fiesta fat/sat ..a way of seeing the jugular veins better on MRI scanning"
