It has been studied how long? - no long term data >7 year,the studies were based on 2 years

on how many people? wow! 4,000 total world wide. (and this is stated by the MS Society as a "well-studied" profile.

effectiveness? again maxing out at 30% of those who are RR.

Side effects? as a quote "the risks are greater than those on beta-interferons and copaxone" such as      :transient reduction in heart rate and partial blockage of heart conduction

    :increased blood pressure

    : macular edema (swelling of the retina)

    :skin cancers

    :herpes infections such as shingles resulting in 2 deaths

    :elevated live enzymes

    :headache, flu, back pain, cough

and did I mention that "the MS Society is urging all provincial governments to make this therapy accessible to people living with MS"

   all I can think of is the cost in ON for an angiogram $1,700, side effects-none, number of people who have had the procedure - >40,000,  effectiveness 60%  safety- done as out patient in a clinic, no deaths reported using a true Zamboni protocol, support of MS Society or Canadian Government - none
