Around a month or so ago I wrote a blog post requesting people to give some input on their experiences with liberation to help me decide on my own plans.  For those of you who posted their experiences, a big thank you.  Perhaps the single most thing that helped me decide was 5 hours ago when my left arm suddenly went numb.  A subsequent ER visit on the recommendation of an on call neuro and an IV drip of steroids and I'm nauseated, but hopefully will keep this arm working.  It sucks, but so does MS.  Regardless, I will be treated with Dr. Siskin in July and I will hopefully be still be able to lift my left arm and extend my middle finger at this curse.  Thanks for those who shared their experiences and thanks to Ken and company for giving us MSers a place to share our experiences, our fears, our hopes, and our dreams.  I'll let you know if the old lefty still works the next time I'm driving through the 401 and an idiot driver cuts me off (hopefully that left middle finger will give a great salute!)
