CCSVI Mexico

With all the publicity of CCSVI, every MS patient is thinking should I go for the procedure and how can I afford it. Firstly, the procedure Is painless and it has changed my life for the better, I am no longer tired all day and I have stopped taking the long afternoon naps My feet and hands are no longer cold. My vision is now clear and not blurred as It was before the procedure. My walking has improved from using a walker to now using a cane. I feel improvement every day and I am working towards getting rid of my cane. Best of all the pain in my legs and arms is gone. I no longer sit awake half of the night crying because I cannot take any more pain killers. I also have a heart condition and the procedure has had no effect on it. My vote is that everyone with MS should have the procedure. The doctors and nurses in foreign countries are all educated and trained to deal with the human body and the human body is an earthly being. Therefore, do not be afraid to travel to wherever possible to get the service you need.

Secondly, use and accept any possible way of finance you may be able to. People have setup local fund raising, borrowed or received funds from fiends or family members, used funds from pensions or RRSP’s and if you have the funds I highly recommend you get the help you need.

The most positive aspect was the kindness, care, respect and concern that my wife, son and I received from everyone. When I say everyone, I mean, Janet Kwan for providing us Information which made our decision very easy. Jo-Ann Hall for setting up our travel arrangements, the West Jet attendants for making our travel very comfortable, the shuttle driver for his care and concern in making sure we arrived safely, the hotel personnel that made our stays very comfortable, and last but not least, the medical team who were excellent in everyway possible. Janet Kwan is the greatest. She covered the details of our trip in a very easy to follow and understanding way. Every detail was covered and nothing was missed. She was very pleasant and concerned. Given my health situation, I felt very informed and comfortable about decision I needed to make. Again, I must say Janet Kwan, was the first step in my new life with MS.

The decision I made to have the CCSVI procedure was the best decision I made in my lifetime. I am now starting a new life without pain and with much better mobility. I send out a big Thank-You to World Med Assist, West Jet Airlines and the Medical Team in Mexico. My life is now wonderful.
