We filed our income tax in the middle of March, including all our medical bills, food receipts, airline receipts for 2, and hotel stay from our trip to Cabo for the Liberation Procedure, which my husband had in September 2010.   We did this through our accountant.  We did NOT include a letter from a doctor.  Today we received the expected refund from Revenue Canada, with no questions asked.  I hope this information helps anyone who is wondering if these medical costs will be accepted on your Canadian Income Tax.
