News outlets around the world are reporting on a new study by UB researchers that suggests that people with multiple sclerosis are more likely to have a narrowing of the veins that restrict normal outflow of blood from the brain, a condition called CCSVI, but that CCSVI may be a consequence, rather than a cause, of MS. Articles on the findings appear in The Wall Street Journal, Canada's CTV News, the French Tribune, The Canadian Press and CBC News.
