My partner,  Deborah Harrison,  visited Ireland for ultrasound   ...whereby ccsvi was indicated...also noticed, at the time  (thank you Monica Healey ),   was a 23mm nodule on my thyroid....she immediately booked to have it seen in England...on the NHS,  immediate response...phone call from the Endocrinologist himself...one of his first questions was  "are you on Interferon?"   ...she replied...  " I came off it 2-3 months ago,  my Neuro said that it wasn't working any more"  ...... He said..."that would explain it" ...He went on to say that he has seen this on more than a few occasions and that was why he'd asked...3 fine needle aspirations later I have been told that all is normal,  reading various blogs we're coming to the conclusion that this is more prevalent than anyone is letting on.
