Our 16-yr-old son Parker underwent the liberation treatment on June 29, 2010 under the care of Dr. Solis and her team at the Star Medica hospital in Merida Mexico. After the initial testing the team determined that he had stenosis in his left jugular but said it was possible that more would show during the procedure. Sure enough, they found stenosis in both the left and right jugulars as well as his right vertebral vein.

Almost immediately after the procedure Parker noticed signs of improvement. His head felt “lighter” and the brain fog has lifted. His color, which was consistently ashen is now pink and healthy looking. His legs/feet are pretty much 100% – Dr. Mendoza, the neurologist, was very pleased with how quickly the strength in his legs returned. He still has a bit of numbness in his hands but it is a vast improvement from what it was. His legs and arms that were always cool to the touch are now warm. His fatigue diminished substantially and for the first time in a long time he’s eating like a teenage boy! He’s still noticing a bit of heat sensitivity but again, nothing like it was before. We look forward to further improvements as his body continues to heal thanks to normalized blood flow (and God’s grace!).

During this process we’ve been introduced to many people with MS with varying levels of exposure to the concept of CCSVI. Many have told us they haven’t considered it because their neurologist has discouraged it. If you suffer from MS we strongly encourage you to investigate the liberation treatment. We have had 3 neurologists tell us that it was dangerous, untested and bad science. Seeing the evidence first hand (both the video of the procedure and our son’s improvements) confirms for us that it was absolutely the right thing to do. Simply put, our son had a vascular condition that needed treatment. Under the hands of a experienced team of specialists from Mexico the common and safe procedure of angioplasty occurred. Now our son is benefiting from the results.

One last thing, if you are looking into Mexico, we arranged the procedure through World Med Assist (www.worldmedassist.com). The intake nurse Janet and our host in Merida, Manuel, were absolutely exceptional. We felt safe and genuinely cared for from the moment we looked into booking right through to our goodbyes (we even got an email in transit asking us to let them know that we got home safely). The hotel you stay in is very comfortable and it is right across a small street from the hospital. The hospital itself holds to very high standards and is easily comparable to any hospital in Canada (better than some!).

If you have any questions that we can help you with, please feel free to contact me. We are by no means experts but if we can help, we’d love to!

Praying for liberation for all!
A very happy Vandermeer family
