Worldwide attention continues to focus on chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI). A growing number of medical professionals believe that outflow obstructions in the veins that drain the central nervous system are associated with the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Relieving such blockage could potentially improve the quality of life for many who suffer from MS.

Physicians who work with MS patients or who specialize in endovascular therapy will want to hear the latest information. In just the past year, much new evidence has come to light even as debate has heightened. The second annual CCSVI Update Symposium will bring together the experts – including Dr. Paolo Zamboni, M.D., originator of the CCSVI theory, and an international faculty of investigators and clinicians – to review relevant data and share firsthand accounts.
