Surgical Tourism Canada Inc, Arizona Doppler Specialists, Tucson, Arizona,  Drs. Lavor and Namanny of Saguaro Surgical, Tucson, Arizona, and Tucson Medical Centre, Tucson, Arizona, USA have entered into a strategic agreement to provide fast, affordable and effective CCSVI Surgery to Canadian patients. 



Surgical Tourism Canada Inc, one of the pioneers in Canada to offer the CCSVI Liberation Treatment has helped several hundred Canadians receive the CCSVI Surgery in India and Europe is now pleased to offer the CCSVI Surgery closer to home in the USA. STC will facilitate all arrangements including booking of appointments, consultations, travel, accommodation and other necessary arrangements. 



Arizona Doppler Specialists will provide diagnostic and follow-up Ultrasounds for the patients.  Drs. Lavor and Namanny of Saguaro Surgical will be the operating surgeons. Tucson Medical Centre will be the facility where all the surgeries will be performed.


 


Approximate cost for the procedure is CDN$ 10,989.00 only. Airfare, Travel Insurance, Diagnostic Doppler Ultrasound, hospital and procedure costs, and 3 night hotel stay is included. Follow up visits and ultrasounds will be at an additional cost. Provincial taxes are extra as applicable.  All invoices will be provided for tax purposes. Mr. Eric Feigenbutz, RVT & President of, Arizona Doppler Specialists


B.S. in Medical Imaging (vascular option).


Eric has worked at several hospitals and outpatient clinics over the years before starting Arizona Doppler.


Eric’s passion with CCSVI started with a patient last spring bringing in some information about a new thought process by Dr. Paolo Zamboni about venous flow and problems with stenosis or occlusion and the association with Multiple Sclerosis. Eric made several trips to New York for specialized training for the Doppler of CCSVI which he shared with his techs. Eric is passionate about being a part of diagnosing CCSVI because they have seen first-hand the improvements that can happen to patients after the liberation procedure is performed. He is one of the only 3 technicians in the USA to be trained and certified by the BNAC in the CCSVI testing procedures. Mr. Feigenbutz has performed tests on hundreds of Canadian and American patients. 


 


Dr.Michael A. Lavor, M.D., FACS


A graduate of the University of New Mexico Medical School, Dr. Lavor completed his internship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, and his residency through the University of Illinois Metro Group Hospitals including: Mercy Hospital, Cook County, Illinois Masonic and Lutheran General Hospital.


He has been in private practice in Tucson since 1991, specializing in general surgery (including breast and endocrine surgery), vascular and trauma surgery, with extensive work and training in Laparoscopic surgery.  He was a member of the Trauma Team at Tucson Medical Center.  Dr. Lavor is board certified in General Surgery.


He was Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Tucson Medical Center, past Chief of Surgery and past Chief of Staff at El Dorado Hospital.


He currently is director for vascular services at El Dorado Hospital.  At El Dorado Hospital, he is on the local physician leadership group; he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, president of the


Rock Mountain Vascular Surgical Society, a Fellow in the Southwestern Surgical Congress, a member of the International Society of Endovascular Surgery and the Pima County Medical Society.


He is on the staff at Tucson Medical Center, El Dorado Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and El Dorado Surgery Center.  He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of Arizona Medical Center- Department Of Surgery.


 


Dr.Matthew P. Namanny, D.O,


Dr. Matthew Namanny received his medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center.  He completed his general surgery residency through Michigan State University at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Detroit Michigan, followed by a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship also at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center.  He completed another fellowship with emphasis on the latest endovascular interventions at the Arizona Hearth Institute in Phoenix, AZ.


Dr. Namanny has been board certified in general surgery since 2007, and is board eligible in vascular surgery.  He has also been on the clinical teaching faculty at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2006.  He is a member of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Society of Vascular Medicine, and the Edward B. Deitrich Vascular Surgery Society.  He specializes in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease with special interest in minimally invasive endovascular therapies.
