So I did retuxin yesterday.  Chemo by any other name.  Off label use of the drug for an MS patient.

The IV delivery was basically a buffet of drugs.

Benadryl.  Tylonol pills.  Steroids. Some anti depressant.  And something else.

Then finally retuxin. No more.

Six hours of IV time.

My wife packed me a good lunch.  In the room, I saw a large cabinet.  Floor to about six feet high and four feet wide.  The doors opened and I smiled.  Snacks.  Good ones.  Major variety.  Convenence store in the infusion room.

I ate 2 packs of M&M cookies and a bag of M&Ms.  Good times.

Finally,  I left.

At home all was good, and life just continued.

Kids, animals, the usual fun.

Nighttime crept.

Glass of wine. 8 pm.

Wide awake.   10 pm

Watched movie. 12 am.

Not a yawn yet.  3 am.

But I needed a remote at 12am.  I stood up and walked.  NO WALKER.  NO CANE.

No fan on.  WALK TO SWITCH ON WALL.  Let out cat.  Walk back to chair.

That was 51 FEET!!!  And no wall grabbing.

I was so happy.  And I could tell nobody.

Just a great feeling and a wonderful early morning.

And I thank you all for letting me share my first night after chemo while feeling the results of steroid insomnia.

Hope we all feel better and my improvements continue.

God Bless You All.
