Hey folks,

I just had my venoplasty 4 hours ago.  Immediately during the venoplasty I had sensation in my foot again and actually had no pain for a while whereas yesterday it was absolutely intense.  It may have been the sedation, but it felt good.  After walking around a fair bit for an hour or so afterwards, some pain did return, but over all the experience has been very positive after only 4 hours or so.  I hope that things will continue to get better and will keep you posted.  Dr. Mandato and the staff at Albany were absolutely awesome and I have high hopes that during the coming months that my symptoms will get better and that my life will improve.  Thanks for all of those on the Locator who have offered support, advice, and just an ear to listen.  I pray that I will improve and all of us will someday have access to this treatment that has a huge potential for us all.
