Clearly, the handling of the CCSVI discovery by both the Federal and Provincial Governments has been very disappointing.  Accordingly, CCSVI Alberta strongly encourages Dr. Sherman to contact both Dr. Code and Dr. Duncan to get the current political and medical news surrounding CCSVI. By doing so, he will be in a better position to assist persons with neurodegenerative diseases such as MS, Alzheimers and Parkinsons Disease who cannot wait unnecessarily for treatment.  Dr. Code and Dr. Duncan have attended the scientific conferences held by the Society of Interventional Radiology, the International Society of Neurovascular Diseases and the National CCSVI Society (Canada).  In addition they are in contact with the leading CCSVI researchers and practitioners.   

CCSVI Alberta intends to figure prominently in the upcoming legislative session through rallies, introductions in the legislature, petitions and written and verbal questions.  As a medical doctor, Dr. Sherman is well positioned to assist in persuading the government to adopt a more reasonable policy towards CCSVI.
