I am not just anti- vaccination or all drugs in general. I feel that we need to make better decisions by educating ourselves in regard to the massive amount of vaccines we and our children are expected to take. If you feel strongly about a vaccination, it doesn't mean that your newborn should get it. Too much too soon is one of the problems with the recommended national vaccination schedule that most pediatricians use.

Overall, your best defense against any disease is a robust immune system, which vaccines can sometimes compromise. Supporting your immune system should always be a top priority. Research has shown that vitamin D is one crucial component for maintaining optimal health,   you need to get you and your children's vitamin D levels tested, if the levels are deficient then you need to optimize your vitamin D levels.

It is the state of your immune system that determines whether or not you get sick from being exposed to viral or bacterial organisms associated with infectious diseases. The key to boosting your immune system and making it a "lean, mean, disease-fighting machine" lies in your lifestyle habits -- healthy food, stress relief, exercise,  sleep, and exposure to sunlight, among other things. Artificially manipulating your immune system with a vaccine to try to stay healthy is not the same thing, nor does it produce the same kind of immunity and sought after  disease-fighting result. It may actually make you less healthy in the long run.

The National Vaccine Information Center is the best place I can think of to get the information you need. The CDC is a waste of time. You have to dig through mountains of paperwork medical jargon to get any information other than the fine print on the consent forms you sign..

Ask yourself these questions before a vaccination:

        1. Am I or my child sick right now?

        2. Have I or my child had a bad reaction to a vaccination before?

        3. Do I or my child have a personal or family history of vaccine reactions, neurological disorders, severe allergies or immune system problems?

        4. Do I know the disease and vaccine risks for myself or my child?

        5. Do I have full information about the vaccine’s side effects?

        6. Do I know how to identify and report a vaccine reaction?

        7. Do I know I need to keep a written record, including the vaccine manufacturer’s name and lot number, for all vaccinations?

        8. Do I know I have the right to make an informed choice?

If  you answered yes to questions 1, 2, and 3, or no to questions 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and do not understand the significance of your answer, you may want to review information on NVIC's website is http://www.nvic.org/Vaccines-and-Diseases.aspx

Learn about "informed consent". A vaccination for your child may be a bad idea, but safe for the next door neighbor.

The National Vaccine Information Center has a newsletter you can receive for free to keep you updated on all the information you may need for you and your family regarding vaccinations:

I can't stress enough how important it is for your doctor to write down all serious health problems that occur after vaccination your medical records. ALL serious symptoms or dramatic change in physical, mental or emotional behavior that happens after having vaccinations need to be reported so this information can be tracked.

By law since 1986 doctors have to report  hospitalizations, injuries, deaths and serious health problems following vaccination to  VAERS : https://vaers.hhs.gov/esub/index  .Only 1 to 10 percent of all vaccine related health issues are reported. This makes it very difficult for the proper statistics to be taken into consideration. You have the right to report problems yourself. You don't have to have a doctor or his recommendation to do this.

Stay informed about the additives and ingredients in your vaccines. You have the right to choose which manufacturer provides your vaccines. This site will hlp you make better informed decisions. http://www.vaccine-tlc.org/

These are some of the ingredients in some of the vaccines given every day. You can find this information on the inserts the vials come with also: mercury, aluminum, Bovine protein, egg protein, formaldehyde, human protein and DNA, mouse protein, Phenol red, Polysorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 80 and Yeast protein.
