Hi all, It's been 1 month today since my jugular bypass surgery in Mexico with Dr. Hernandez at Excel. Medico Excel continues to check up on my progress on a weekly basis so far. I get phone calls from Paulina and emails from Tina. It's so nice to know that their follow up care is there when I need it. They are always available for me to talk to and get advice. They would like to document my progress and check on any changes that I have.  So far the initial recovery in my hands, feet and eye sight remains the same as it was after the first 2 days. I had developed an infection at my incision on my leg but it is now clearing with a round of antibiotics. As for my incisions they have healed over and the wounds have closed.  I am getting stronger everyday. My neck and leg are still numb but have been told that will subside in another month or so.  I am wearing my stocking once a day and have started a light workout to get my muscles strong again. I am still taking my Coumadin for blood thinning that my Dr. here at home monitors weekly. I have 2 more months to go on the Coumadin. Over all i feel that things are going well and as expected. I am looking forward to getting more mobile and walking better soon.  Talk to you all in another month.
