By Andrés Brakke – CCSVI  Treatment Coordinator

www.multiplesclerosisccsvi.com

More than 30,000 multiple sclerosis patients have believed in the ccsvi (chronic cerebral spinal venous insufficiency) treatment, online testimonials abound, most treated patients chose the CCSVI angioplasty procedure over the “traditional” pharmaceutical approach prescribed by neurologists and are happy that  they did.

The FDA’s recent big pharma protectionist warning by all accounts intended to instill fear in MS patients who desperately seek relief from the crushing symptoms of the disease thru the very simple and safe CCSVI angioplasty procedure as the already huge pharmaceutical companies stand to lose billions of dollars  and are equally desperate and determined to prevent.

MS patients worldwide,( about 3 million ) represent windfall profits for the pharmaceutical companies and the “controversial” CCSVI angioplasty which is an outpatient procedure represents a substantial loss of revenue for these wealthy giants.

As a treatment coordinator I have witnessed hundreds of multiple sclerosis patients benefit from the CCSVI treatment at the Clinics of the Heart, almost all of them Canadian citizens who traveled to Mexico (Los Cabos)  this experience has also been heartbreaking since we believe  it  to be a safe procedure that should be available to patients in their own country. At the Clinics of the Heart in both locations Los Cabos and Cozumel Mexico we are happy and fortunate to be able to treat and change the lives of wonderful people all of whom deserve the opportunity to enjoy the best possible quality of life.

I personally believe that the recent warning by thr FDA amounts to nothing more than blatant fear mongering, designed to scare people, to prevent ms patients to seek this life changing treatment and to protect the economic interest of the pharmaceutical companies. (too greedy?) What other explanation can there be? Unsafe? Are all of the online video and written testimonials lies?

All I am saying here is that as the ccsvi  treatment coordinator for the Clinics of the Heart, I have witnessed  fenomenal  results that hundreds of people that have taken the “leap of faith” and traveled to a foreign land, to seek a life changing treatment have enjoyed, in most cases with visible measurable results that are evident and have been recorded.

These words that I have written are my personal thoughts, as I am saddened by the situation that thousands of wonderful people that are suffering from the devastating effects of this disease are facing. I believe that if their desire is to improve their quality of life they should be able to obtain the ccsvi treatment with the physician of their choice. The FDA and the Canadian health system should show compassion for the patient instead of protecting the interest of neurologists and big pharma.   And to those patients who suffer from the effects of multiple sclerosis who are undecided about this treatment I say: Listen to the words of the thousands who have had the liberation procedure as they also were faced by the same decision…as far as they were concerned the effects of the disease were much scarier than this very simple and safe outpatient angioplasty.
