I remember some research a few years ago that found statins did not help people with MS, but it appears that this may have been short sighted. The study has now been carried out on people with SPMS and it may have more positive results with less side effects than other so called MS drugs: http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/772477?src=nl_topicStatins are drugs for the vascular system, so more evidence to support the need for research in what Franz Schelling calls VDMS venodynamic MS.
