Ectrims for those who do not know about it, is an annual MS conference which takes place in Europe. This year the conference is in France, and there are more CCSVI presentations than ever before. This one is from the team a Buffallo and reviews the progress of people who have undergone CCSVI treatment at 6 months and 12 months: http://registration.akm.ch/einsicht.php?XNABSTRACT_ID=155943&XNSPRACHE_ID=2&XNKONGRESS_ID=171&XNMASKEN_ID=900 Their conclusion is: This study shows that in MS patients with CCSVI, PTA treatment has a beneficial effect on CSF flow and velocity measures. This improvement could be due to better venous drainage following angioplasty.
