We at the Clinics of the Heart are very proud about all efforts that the MS community (patients, relatives, care givers, hospitals, doctors, media and manufacturers) has done to fight this terrible disease.

We wish the best for everybody through this New Year.

I personally want to thank all the people that shared with us their experiences, either treated or not, at our Clinic or not, after good or bad results.

Unfortunately restenosis is still a nightmare for the whole community so I want to let you know that because the next Mexican government approval for drug eluting balloons, these will be included in our treatment cost.

There is a recent evidence for the benefit of these balloons in reducing restenosis in many vascular conditions including coronary and peripheral arteries as well as in arterio-venous fistulae in hemodialysis so we can possibly expect the same benefit in the jugular/azygous veins.
