The large pharmaceutical industry has capitalized on the sales of their medications, and are protected by patents that bind our Canadian government contractually to guarantee that no generic forms of these medications become available.

Why would our government and insurance companies continue to pay billions for medications that have shown in study after study not to do what they were promised to do?
