I have no idea what type of MS I have but it is indeed evil. I'm 35 and my EDSS score is a seven. I'll get to my questions in just a minute. I was DX in 2002 with RRMS. I had a negative spinal tap but they did find lesions in my brain and spine. First question is: what is the difference between PPMS and SPMS when it comes to inflammation and new lesions. I have all the same damage that I had in 2002 butt nothing ever shows up different in my MRI's. Year after year I steadily get worst but the MRI's always are stable with no new lesions, inflammation, or flares. Is PPMS mean that the person is constantly being attacked with new inflammation or is it like my case where you continue to progress without any exacerbations?. Is it merely the atrophy that is causing the mute progression?

By the way I have had the CCSVI procedure done with absolutely no positive results. The only meds I take are baclofen, LDN, and cannabis.

I appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Maggie
