Paolo Zamboni, scientist, researcher, current Director of University's Vascular Diseases Center, open a new front of research called BF, or Brain and Fluids. He discovered a method that now bears his name all over the world and it evokes, at the same time, the role of the research that is continually evolving. Dr. Paolo Zamboni, Director of the Vascular Diseases Center of Ferrara has the authorship of the treatment of CCSVI (Chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency, a disease identified by Zamboni in 2008), which would have a direct correlation with the onset of multiple sclerosis. A method that is now at the top of a trial but has also opened up a new front of research called BF, Brain and Fluids. An interdisciplinary working group that connects the cerebrospinal fluid and neurodegenerative diseases different from multiple sclerosis.
