The full story....Serono was submitting FALSE CLAIMS to Medicaid and Medicare for payment of Rebif which included their BRIBES and meetings at LUXURY RESORTS (Hawaii, anyone?). That's why they owe the US government $44.3 million. But the larger question is--shouldn't they be punished? Shouldn't the doctors who take kickbacks be disciplined??
