Some of you may not remember, but Dr. Zamboni actually started researching CCSVI when he had discovered the writings of Dr. Franz Schelling. Dr. Schelling is a humble man, who tried to get the neurological community to listen to his research 30 years ago. Dr. Schelling tried to speak for us 30 years ago, and his research was never considered. By that time, MS Societies worldwide had sold themselves out to the large pharmaceutical industry and were promoting the use of Immunomodulatory Drugs. Dr. Schelling’s warnings were ignored.

Dr. Schelling has always believed the key to understanding MS was in understanding the venous system. He was a brilliant researcher at the time, and remains a hero for all patients with MS and other neurovascular problems.
