Obesity is a risk factor is MS...the risk of getting the disease is 4 times higher in obese girls. This doesn't mean only obese girls get MS (my hubby was a fit man). It means that we need to look at the cardiovascular connection to MS risk and disease process. Obesity has a known link to impaired blood flow. Let's continue to press for research, and live heart healthy lives.
