New study from the Dept. of Neuroscience in Naples finds a connection to jugular venous flow and MS.
"In conclusion, these results suggest that MS is associated with changes in the dynamics of the internal jugular vein. Contrast enhanced ultrasonography of the Internal Jugular Vein with time intensity curve analysis revealed alterations of cerebral venous outflow in Multiple Sclerosis patients-- "http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3968019/
