Happy New Year! From Sandro and Dr. Zamboni--A new press release from Italy and the Ferrara Hospital regarding the CCSVI trial.
"The recruitment of patients for the trial Brave Dreams has ended: the final results in a year."

"The study included several phases: recruitment, intervention and evaluation over time of the clinical outcome (follow-up).
31 December 2014, the recruitment and intervention were performed on all patients selected in 8 Italian centers coordinated by St. Anna Hospital of Ferrara.
In a year all the data will be available to give the final answer to the questions that the study included: assessing the efficacy and safety of angioplasty in patients with multiple sclerosis.
The centers that have worked are: Bologna, Ravenna, Catania University Hospital, Ancona, Novara and the Besta Institute of Milan. Also the center of Careggi in Florence for evaluation of MRI and the University of Milan Bicocca for statistical analyzes.
The management would like to thank Dr. Zamboni for the performance of the role of lead researcher, Dr. Filippini as Chairman of the Scientific Committee and all researchers of various Italian centers that are working hard to achieve the end result.
Special thanks also to all patients who have accepted the double-blind design of the study does not allow them, at this stage, to know the outcome.
Recall that the study was made possible thanks to funding made available by the Emilia-Romagna Region."
