CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis
This year Celltex opened in Texas to give patients doses of teir own stem cells as a therapy. It works like this: the doctors take a few of your own stem cells, they allow the numbers to increase in the lab under controlled conditions (antibiotics to keep it germ free, testing to assure the cells don't chagne etc) then they give the cells back as a therapy. The high numbers of cells cause damaged areas to heal. Patients out of options for MS wanted to try the therapy, but the FDA says you can't even try it until they approve it. They say your own stem cells are drugs. If you think patients should be able to try this therapy sign this petition. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/stop-fda-over-reach-regulating-our-own-stem-cells/csQ6V3KKStop FDA over reach into regulating our own stem cells. | We the People: Your Voice in Our Governmenpetitions.whitehouse.gov Every human being has stem cells inside their own body. These stem cells heal damaged tissue but are rare. Doctors can take a few of your own stem cells and grow their numbers in the lab then give them back to you to help you heal if you need it.
