Good morning from San Francisco! Dr. Zamboni joins the first session presenters, speaking about his study of hydrostatic pressure using the stretch collar, called plethysmography. People with MS have double the time of clearance of blood from the brain back to the heart compared to normals--because venous outlets are restricted. His group is close to bringing this means of measurement to other research labs, hopefully by summer 2014.
