CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis
HSCT and Dr. Freedman are all over the press and words like "miracle" and "cure" are being invoked again. But the science shows this is not a cure--autopsied brains of people who received HSCT show that the inflammatory immune cells and axonal damage continued in everyone. Here is my write up with the research. HSCT is a treatment which can relieve inflammation in those with highly inflammatory MS, but it does not cure the neurodegenerative aspect of progressive MS. From Rindfliesch's discovery of the central vessel in the MS lesion in 1863, to Dr. Paolo Zamboni's discovery of Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency. 150 years of MS research on blood flow and perfusion of the central nervous system. Because the heart and the brain are connected.
