Multiple Sclerosis is not an autoimmune disease. It is a disease of permeable blood brain barrier and cerebral endothelial disruption, which allows plasmic particles- immune cells, iron, and clotting proteins- access to delicate brain tissue. The EAE autoimmune mouse model is NOT MS IN PEOPLE. We need more research in real, live people--called "in vivo" studies, like this one.
