"Canadian Neurovascular Health Society president, Sandra Birrell was interviewed for this story about new Minister of Science Dr. Kirsty Duncan:

"Rather than a renegade when it comes to research, the minister is committed to an open and free scientific debate in this area and others, says Sandra Birrell, an MS patient and president of the pro-CCSVI Canadian Neurovascular Health Society.

“Kirsty was always our voice of reason, saying ‘Let’s listen to the science,’ ” said the B.C.-based educational psychologist. “She’s actually just calling for science to unfold, and (asking) ‘Why are we quashing this without listening to the patients? … I’m excited to see what she can do.”"
