Often people do ask me why to take an “Adrenal Cocktail” (recipe below) when trying to bring up your low Magnesium levels and/or re-balancing bound/unbound* Copper levels.

Here is the answer. Best Arne :

If you are low in Magnesium you are most likely low in Potassium as well because low Potassium is a residue of STRESS induced Magnesium loss. But low Potassium can also be caused by synthetic “Vitamin” D- and B12 supplements, blood Pressure medication or an excess of unbound Copper.

But without sufficient Potassium levels the body can’t breakdown sugars. That’s another reason why you need a sufficient amount of REAL Vitamin A/Retinol (animal source) as well to get this Potassium metabolism work.

Unfortunately Magnesium recovery & dumping of unbound Copper are precursors of Potassium loss. So it’s highly recommended to support your Adrenals during this time as well, which usually involves “supplementing” Sodium & Potassium. Recommended to get your Potassium up again are Baked Potatoes, Celery, Coconut Water and Apple cider vinegar. Bananas are very rich in Potassium too but there is unfortunately too much sugar involved.

And then there is Potassium Loss during a Copper Dump/Detox
where a lot of potassium is quickly lost from inside of cells, pumped temporarily in the blood stream and later excreted in the urine, which can feel like a nasty MS attack (vertigo & nausea).
If blood is drawn during such a process, the blood level may appear to be high while the intra-cellular potassium level could actually be extremely low.

Be warned, doctors may be misinterpreting the high blood potassium levels how they are doing it with high Magnesium blood levels too, not realizing that the Mg & K levels are actually already extremely low IN the cells/body tissue and therefor a clear signals that you are at HIGH! cardiac risks.
To avoid all this hassle/side effects some smart people came up with this easy recipe called ‘Adrenal Cocktail’

Recipe:

"What is important is that this mixture should be taken at least once or twice/day, and please be sure that it is taken away from food to have the optimal benefit.
--4 Oz. of Orange Juice – fresh squeezed is best, but not essential (the Vitamin-C Complex makes sure that the minerals noted below get to the Liver to then nourish the Adrenals)
--1/4 tsp of Cream of Tartar (this is an excellent source of Potassium or you can use Potassium Bicarbonate)
--1/4 tsp of fresh ground Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt (this is an excellent source of Sodium & 90+ other minerals)
What we recommend is that our clients prepare a Thermos at the start of the day with enough liquid for two (2) applications (i.e. at least 8 Oz. of fresh-squeezed Orange Juice) and drink it mid-morning (~10am), as well as mid-afternoon (~3pm). In addition, any time that you are feeling particularly anxious it would be advisable to prepare another mixture and take it."
