Some clarification regarding benefits & risk of “Vitamin D” vs. UV-rates, by Dr. Jack Kruse (neurosurgeon)

The beginning of the challenge to understanding quantum processes of light is clear when we speak about Vitamin D3. There is a great deal of misunderstand that someone "absorbs" Vitamin D3. When in reality it is the specific UVB frequencies that "manufacture" it from sulfated cholesterol, and not absorbing it from foods. Our gut is lined with VDR's that get it signal from the microbiome that are filled with bacteria whose job it is to release light from foods we eat. People forget bacteria release 5000 times more bio-photons then eukaryotes like us do. This makes your gut lumen a filament in a light bulb inside of you where you food is broken down into electrons. Think of it as metabolic economics; you have supply side and demand side as well as the processes in between.
The second challenge is the presupposition of "normal" VitaminD levels. The vast majority of folks think the only determinant with regards to Vitamin D# is the 25OH value. It's not. Your optimized D3 levels are tied directly to your mitochondrial haplotype and the SNP's you inherited over many generations in your family as you moved. Those SNP's along with your haplotype tell the smart clinician where your Vitamin D levels are optimized for your mitochondria type you entered the world with. This is your true quantum yield number. Few people understand this very basic fact. the 25OH number doctors give patients is just the storage marker and speaks nothing of the other points of the aforementioned metabolic economy. The real story is missed when things like 1,25OH, Ionized calcium, RBC magnesium (vitamin D storage form conversion to active form AND binding to VDR are all Mg dependent), biomarkers of trans-sulfuration pathways that sulfate proteins and lipids like cholesterol in the skin are not looked at and poor taught in medical schools. So, if you are ever to understand Vitamin D status you must look at the unique story of the patient and through a proper quantum prism. If you don't you get many half truths from researchers, clinicians, and especially the alternative practitioners. Half truths always lead to full lies.
Is there more than one road to melanoma?

"...Context Sunlight is the main environmental cause of most cutaneous melanomas. Exposure to intense bursts of ultraviolet radiation, especially in childhood, starts the transformation of benign melanocytes into a malignant phenotype. Paradoxically, outdoor workers have a decreased risk of melanoma compared with indoor workers, suggesting that chronic sunlight exposure can have a protective effect. Further, some melanomas form on sun-exposed regions; others do not. Although some melanomas arise from pre-existing melanocytic naevi (moles), many arise de novo." http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736%2804%2915649-3/fulltext
