Here is our annual update letter.

We would like to let you know what has been happening with DIRECT-MS over the past year and to thank you for your continued support.

This year we continued to fund the diet research of Dr. Terry Wahls and the results will be available next year. We plan to continue our support.

Our main initiative over the past year was to establish the MS Hope website (www.mshope.com). This project was designed to provide easy to access information on the main strategies Direct-MS recommends for slowing and/or halting MS progression. Three videos were created and they deal with nutrition, exercise and treatment of impaired blood flow from the brain.

In September and October, the cross-Canada MS Hope Tour visited Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto and Vancouver. At each location the event was free of charge and two presentations were given. Matt Embry led off with the nutritional and exercise strategies he has used to keep his MS well controlled for the past 20 years. I followed with the scientific information that supports the use of these strategies. These presentations will be available on the MS Hope and Direct-MS websites in 2016.

Thank you very much for your ongoing and generous support for our efforts which have allowed us to provide persons with MS with reliable, science-based information and to fund highly relevant, research projects. We hope you see the value in such work and will continue to help us achieve our goals.

A receipt for tax purposes will be issued promptly for both Canada and the USA. 95% of all donations goes to charitable purposes.
