I hope most people with MS know that high salt intake is very problematic for MS. Here is the latest press release which describes the latest study which leaves little doubt that salt intake and MS are related. Of course MSSC unconsionably keeps pushing persons with MS to increase their salt intake (i.e. poutine challenge, A&W promotion etc). http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2015-08/foas-hsi080515.phpHere's another reason to put the salt shaker down: New research in The FASEB Journal involving mice shows that diets high in sodium may be a novel risk factor in the development of multiple sclerosis (MS) by influencing immune cells that cause the disease.
